My Moen single handle shower valve would not turn completely off, so we replaced the cartridge. I installed the handle to be at 6:00. When I turn the water on (counter clock wise rotation) it is the cold side. Then the water turns off at 12:00. As you continue turning it does get to the hot side. I must have installed the cartridge incorrectly, as 6:00 should be the off position.
